London cyber market players are expecting sustained rate momentum from 2021 for the next six months, as the sector sees a continuation of hard market conditions as it enters its sixth consecutive quarter of correction.

The majority of market practitioners canvassed by Insurance Insider said they saw “no reason” for rate momentum to slow, with multiple factors still working in underwriters’ favour to keep rate increases elevated.
