UK financial services specialist Altus Consulting has acquired the specialty market consultancy Cognitive Risk in a deal that will establish a new practice within its insurance domain.

Following the transaction, Cognitive Risk’s founders have joined Altus’s insurance division and will operate as a rebranded practice, Altus Specialty Markets.
