Goldman Sachs-backed broking platform Aston Lark is to acquire Birmingham-based intermediary Johnson & Co, in a deal that will bolster the broker’s proposition via a new specialism in gun trade protection.

The business deals in a range of commercial covers and specialises in music industry and gun trade protection, as well as high-value personal household insurance.
