The Hartford estimates Ida claims will fall short of reinsurance trigger: CFO Costello
The Hartford CFO Beth Costello told investors on Monday that the company expects claims from Hurricane Ida to cost it around $200mn and that the event was unlikely to reach its catastrophe reinsurance program.
The executive was speaking at the Barclays investment conference and gave the first public preliminary estimate by a major commercial carrier.
