Capita has hired Deloitte to run the sale of its Specialty Insurance Services unit after talks around a sale to InsurTech Artificial Labs ended without a transaction, this publication can reveal.

It is understood that Deloitte and Capita are working to finalise a list of preferred bidders as early as the end of this week, with an aim to secure a transaction by the start of September.
