Prebensen named RiverStone International chair as CVC deal closes

CVC has completed the acquisition of RiverStone Europe from Fairfax Financial and Canadian pension fund Omers, and the legacy acquirer will now operate as RiverStone International.

Preben Prebensen has been appointed as independent non-executive chair for RiverStone International, while Nick Packer, one of the co-founders of Enstar, has also joined the board as a non-executive director.
