Howden takes Allianz Group’s Schaefer as Germany CEO in latest executive hire

Howden has named Allianz Group’s Holger Schaefer as CEO of its German operations in the latest of a string of executive hires at the broker.

Schaefer will join the business at the beginning of September, after having worked at the Allianz Group for more than 30 years, latterly as Asia Pacific CEO for subsidiary Euler Hermes.
