UK’s trade credit reinsurance scheme to end on 30 June

The UK government has confirmed it will end the trade credit reinsurance scheme on 30 June as planned, having previously considered an extension.

The scheme was introduced in June 2020 to help insurers continue to offer trade credit insurance amid the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
