SME brokers are keen to invest in tech and data-enabled trading tools but are constrained by prohibitive costs, according to the London and International Insurance Brokers Association’s (Liiba) James Livett.

At the virtual InsiderTech conference, Liiba’s associate director said smaller brokers were aware of the need to switch to efficient, data-led trading but at a disadvantage to bigger brokers when it came to investing in tools.
