Moody’s upgrades Scor outlook to stable on ‘manageable’ Covid-19 losses

Moody’s has affirmed Scor’s Aa3 insurance financial strength (IFS) rating and changed its outlook from negative to stable as it took into account “manageable” Covid-19 losses for 2021.

Scor published its Q1 results on Wednesday, revealing profit down by 60.6% to EUR102mn ($123.4mn) as the P&C re unit contended with winter storm losses and the life segment booked Covid-19 claims of EUR162mn.
