ICA ups Queensland and NSW flood loss estimate to A$567mn

The estimated insured loss for flooding in New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland last month has now reached A$567mn ($431mn), according to the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA).

In its latest update, the council said insurers have now received 37,858 claims for damage caused by the floods.
