AM Best has given the London (re)insurance market a stable outlook based on rate momentum, clearer wordings and modernisation efforts.

The ratings agency negative factors moderating those positive trends include uncertainty on US casualty reserving because of social inflation, the ongoing impact of Covid-19 and rising catastrophe losses including from secondary perils and changing climate trends.
