Scor has dismissed a complaint filed by one-time suitor Covéa against chairman and CEO Denis Kessler as “deceitful and groundless”, and designed to divert attention from alleged wrongdoing by the mutual’s chief before a criminal case begins.

Covéa said yesterday it had filed a complaint against Kessler with the Parquet National Financier financial crime office alleging “market manipulation and misuse of corporate assets”.
