Talanx expects EUR300mn in Covid-19 claims this year: CFO Wicke

Talanx is expecting around EUR300mn ($358mn) of Covid-19 claims during the course of this year, according to CFO Jan Wicke.

On a call with journalists following Talanx’s full-year results, Wicke identified life reinsurance as the primary source of potential claims due to excess mortality, especially in the US.
