Sita, an IT company providing IT and telecommunication services to the air transport industry, has revealed a major cyber attack which has compromised information belonging to several airline companies.

The firm confirmed it discovered the breach on 24 February, and the data affected was stored on the US server of its passenger service system (PSS).
