Willis to pay up to $1.4bn for Tranzact

Willis Towers Watson is set to acquire digital health insurance broker Tranzact for up to $1.4bn.

The buyer will purchase the direct-to-consumer business from private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), which bought the intermediary in 2016.
