Perils lifts Friederike loss estimate to $2bn

Catastrophe data aggregator Perils has increased its loss estimate for extratropical cyclone Friederike to EUR1.68bn ($1.97bn) from EUR1.63bn.

The company today published a third estimate for claims expected from the storm, which swept across northern Europe in January.
