Swedish Club to propose leaving Rena wreck in situ

The MV Rena's protection and indemnity (P&I) insurer has proposed applying under the New Zealand Resource Management Act to leave the Rena wreck in situ and avoid paying out additional P&I costs of up to $100mn.
