Validus Reinsurance to seek approval for Canadian branch

Validus plans to file for Canadian authorisation to establish a reinsurance branch. 

According to a filing in Canada Gazette, Validus plans to submit the application with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions on or after 8 April.
