ILS becomes less viewed as an “alternative” capital and has become a standard consideration for insurers and reinsurance whilst new perils, like cyber and terrorism, are expected to continue to grow, said Philipp Kusche, Global Head of ILS & Capital Solutions, Howden Capital Markets & Advisory, at the Insurance Insider ILS Conference in London.
