James River has completed the $277mn sale of its casualty reinsurance portfolio to Fleming Intermediate Holdings, ending the weeks-long legal dispute between the Bermudian carriers.

James River said Fleming completed the acquisition of its unit JRG Re “at the previously agreed upon terms.”
