WTW has launched a Bermuda excess casualty construction facility, tailored to clients in the North American market.

The facility offers a range of $25mn-$50mn in excess capacity, providing reinforcement for construction projects. Excess capacity is available attaching at $10mn per occurrence.

Jim Dunlap, North American construction broking leader, CRB at WTW said: "As a global line of business, it is imperative that we provide our clients access to the global marketplace to assure that the very best terms and conditions are obtained. The development of this innovative facility is indicative of WTW’s commitment to product development.”

Chris Heinicke, head of casualty, Bermuda, CRB at WTW added: "The purpose is to provide our clientele with an additional competitive option. The overall development of this facility is illustrative of WTW’s commitment to providing innovative solutions for our customers utilizing the global insurance marketplace.”

Earlier this month, WTW also launched international cyber insurance facility, CyCore, providing protection against malicious and non-malicious acts and technical failures.

CyCore offers limits of up to $20mn in primary coverage with a single lead insurer.
