The UK Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) has launched a consultation on how insurers execute solvent exits.

The PRA describes a solvent exit as “the process through which a firm ceases its insurance business (including both effecting and carrying out contracts of insurance) in an orderly manner while remaining solvent throughout”.
