Ocean Re has promoted Javier Gonzalez to chief actuary and recruited Simone Oliveira as chief commercial officer, as the fast-growing reinsurer continues revamping its senior leadership.

Gonzalez is based in Mexico City and Oliveira is based in London. Both executives will report to CEO Guillermo Eslava.
