Continued flooding in the France and UK is likely to add a “notable, additional cost to insurers,” with losses already in the tens of millions of dollars, according to Aon’s latest catastrophe report.

Heavy rainfall in the UK following a yellow rain warning on 3 January led to flooding in parts of England and Wales, with around 1,000 homes impacted.
