Reinsurance FOMO puts pressure on signings but rates still hold
In the final stages of the 1 January reinsurance renewal, sources acknowledged that there was clear pressure from oversubscribed catastrophe programmes, but said discipline was prevailing as reinsurers’ appetite to grow was price-sensitive.
