Australian Christmas storm claims surpass 18,000: ICA

Insurers have received 18,174 claims related to the Australian Christmas storms, with 10,716 claims in the Gold Coast region, according to the latest figures released by the Insurance Council of Australia (ICA).

Between 23-26 December, widespread hailstorms, damaging winds, flash floods and tornadoes hit Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
