MGA Alchemy snares Sompo International’s Bowler for PI launch

Start-up MGA Alchemy has hired former Sompo International head of professional indemnity Ian Bowler to launch a professional risks unit backed by Bridgehaven.

Bowler spent 10 years at Sompo International in that role.

The move reunites him with Sompo alumni Richard Housley, CEO, as well as underwriters Rupert Cousins and Edouard Martin-Prud’homme.
