Tokio Marine Holdings has confirmed an investigation by the Japan Fair Trade Commission regarding price-fixing allegations at one of the company’s subsidiaries.

According to the company, Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance was subject to an on-site investigation by the Japan Fair Trade Commission relating to an alleged violation of the Antimonopoly Act with respect to non-life insurance contracts.
