The Lloyd’s Market Association Joint War Committee has widened the boundary of waters in the Red Sea deemed high risk, following a surge of warlike activity in the area.

There has been a string of maritime incidents in the Red Sea following the eruption of the Israel-Hamas conflict, which have mostly been attributed to Yemen’s Houthi rebel movement.
