S&P upgrades IAG ratings for its ‘robust’ competitive position

S&P has upgraded the long-term financial strength and issuer credit ratings of the core entities of Insurance Australia Group (IAG) to ‘AA’ from ‘AA-’.

The ratings agency also raised the long-term issuer credit rating on IAG to 'A+' from 'A' and said the outlook on the ratings is stable.
