Hiscox London Market has partnered with Google Cloud to launch an AI-enhanced lead underwriting model, which the carrier said will give underwriting teams the ability to offer lead quotes in just three minutes.

Proof of concept for the product was undertaken within the carrier’s sabotage and terrorism line of business, but the principles will apply to other lines of business within and beyond big-ticket insurance.
