The upcoming January 1 renewal will be “orderly” and a “continuation of the discipline and focus by the reinsurance industry,” Swiss Re’s CEO of property and casualty reinsurance Urs Baertschi told investors.

Baertschi said the upcoming renewal would be “in contrast to the chaos” experienced in the market last year.
