Probitas is launching into the marine and energy liability market in 2024 and has hired Edward Abbott from The Hartford to lead the buildout into the class, this publication can reveal.

The line of business entry will be through AdA SPA 2024, the carrier’s special purpose arrangement which will begin underwriting next year.
