Insured losses from flooding in Hauts-de-France estimated at EUR550mn: CCR

French reinsurer CCR has estimated that the losses from the recent flooding in the Hauts-de-France region will cost EUR550mn ($600mn).

At least 50%, or EUR275mn of that figure will be covered directly by CCR under public reinsurance, it said.
