Everest will launch into the political violence and terrorism (PVT) market in 2024 and has hired Kit Welsh from Axis to lead the buildout into the class, this publication can reveal.

The launch into the new line of business comes as the carrier continues its major international insurance expansion strategy, which has seen numerous class entries over the past year.
