There is more work to do in the insurance industry to improve casualty loss modelling in a world of increasingly interconnected risk, according to a roundtable hosted by this publication in partnership with Verisk.

Participants noted that challenges around data made modelling casualty loss scenarios more challenging, while loss scenarios are also impacted by wider geopolitical and macroeconomic dynamics.
