Moody’s RMS has estimated insured losses from Winter Storm Ciarán at EUR900mn to EUR1.5bn ($962mn- $1.6bn).

Losses in France account for the majority, while the storm also affected Belgium, the UK, the Channel Islands, The Netherlands and Germany.
