Hannover Re P&C combined ratio improves 2.8 points to 92.2% in Q3

Hannover Re’s P&C reinsurance business posted a 3.7% year-on-year drop in gross insurance revenue to EUR4.4bn ($4.7bn) in Q3, as the net reinsurance service result at the division improved by 37.3% to EUR287.2mn.

This brought a 2.8-point improvement to the P&C Re combined ratio to 92.2% for the quarter, compared to Q3 2022.
