CEO Simon Burton is set to leave Cayman Islands-based reinsurer Greenlight Re, ending a tenure of more than six years, this publication understands.

Sources said the board – chaired by the head of the associated hedge fund David Einhorn – met last week and has reached agreement on the appointment of his successor, an outsider.
