Swiss Re could strengthen its casualty reserves by around $2.1bn in 2023 and 2024, according to Berenberg.

Berenberg analyst Tryfonas Spyrou said in a note that the reinsurer has underperformed its reinsurance peers over the past 12 months, despite being geared to the same market tailwinds.
