Allianz has agreed to buy P&C business Tua from Generali in a EUR280mn ($296mn) cash deal.

As previously reported, Talanx, Groupama and Itas were among the bidders for the Italian insurer.

The transaction, expected to close in 2024, will increase Allianz’ Italian P&C market share by around 1%.
