Ascot Underwriting has appointed five new directors to its board at Lloyd’s, including a former AIG Life director, after earlier resignations following the retirement of former CEO Andrew Brooks.

This comes as the carrier has also recruited long-time Selective Insurance Group CFO Mark Wilcox as finance chief for Ascot Group.
