Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has appointed Pascal Carrer as head of casualty in Switzerland.

Most recently, Carrer was head of corporate risk and insurance management at Hoerbiger Holding AG.

BHSI country manager in Switzerland Leander Metzger said: "I am excited to welcome Pascal to our leadership team in Switzerland."
