HDI Global, RSA and QIC Europe among eight insurers named in 25 new BI cases

Several insurers have been named in a new wave of business interruption (BI) legal cases launched in the UK High Courts over the last month.

Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance, HDI Global, Allianz, Ageas, QIC Europe, Covea Insurance and Axa Insurance have been named as defendants in the cases, along with Lloyd’s Syndicate DTW1991, which Coverys placed into run-off in November 2020.
