Aurora, the digital commercial insurance platform for micro-businesses and SMEs, has raised £2.5m to accelerate its algorithmic trading proposition.

Aurora said the funds will enable it to automate processes for more complex commercial product lines. The capital injection will also help it to develop co-insurance and computable contracts solutions to support SMEs and their brokers.
