Global climate change-related litigation cases have doubled to more than 2,000 since 2015 and the subsequent effects will have implications for D&O and various other insurance lines in the near future, according to WTW.

In an interview with Insurance Insider, Michelle Radcliffe, director of climate analytics and exposure management in WTW's insurance consulting and technology unit, noted there are a number of test cases ongoing that could have a significant impact.
