Lancashire reported a 26.2% increase in its gross written premiums (GWP) for the first half of the year, writing more than $1.18bn in the first two quarters of 2023.

For the first half of 2023, the carrier reported a combined ratio of 79.2%, a 2.1-point deterioration on the prior-year period.
