Catalina reports comprehensive loss of $454mn for 2022

Catalina Holdings has recorded a comprehensive loss of $454mn for 2022, up from a loss of $1.5mn the year prior.

The legacy carrier reported unrealised losses of more than $345mn for 2022, up from $78mn in the previous year, which it attributed to market interest rate movements on fixed maturity securities.
