Beazley CEO Adrian Cox confirmed the carrier has begun the process of moving its US E&S business off its Lloyd’s paper as it sets up a new E&S carrier.

Beazley will write its wholesale platform business on Lloyd’s paper and its retail platform business in Europe and North America on its own insurance company paper, he said on the firm’s quarterly call with analysts.
